Freecycle!

I discovered Freecycling when I was pregnant with my daughter.  It's comprised of groups of people from almost every city or county (for those of you in rural areas), that share their unwanted goods via web post.  You simply respond (the sooner the item is posted the better) and let the person know when you can pick up and they respond with details on when and where to pick up if you are selected as the lucky person to receive the item.  In most cases these people just don't have room for these items anymore and would like to be able to give them to people who they know will be able to use them.  I don't know how I would have made it through my daughter's infancy and early toddler years without Freecycle.  Some of the things I picked up include:  a crib, bags and bags of infant clothes, blankets, diapers, infant toys, a bassinet, two car seats (one for my car and one for dad's), 3 strollers (2 of which were very expensive PegPergo brand strollers, and one of those was a double stroller, which came in handy when my nephew came to visit), 2 playpens (one for home, and one for away), and much more.  Take the time to find out about Freecycle in your city!  Just visit Freecycle.org to find the Freecycle group in your area. Happy Freecycling!!
